Nevertheless, it may have the best animated sequences you'll ever see on PC-98. Too bad it was canceled so quickly, it certainly had some potential.

The anime Jewel BEM Hunter Lime is based on these games. Once upon a month, a door behind the full moon opens. This door is between the human world and magical world. Now it just so happens that on one such night, Lime and Bass are in hot pursuit of a demon who had stolen six power gems from the magical world. The demon escapes to the human world through the open door, and the two follow. Now they must search for the six power gems, all of which have been scattered all over Tokyo. It's up to Lime and Bass to blend into with humans and find the gems.

It is up to two demon hunters, Lime and Bass, to assume the likeness of a teenage girl and boy and restore peace and order. The third episode of the series is, like its predecessors, an interactive cartoon with visual novel elements. The interaction is sparse, consisting of repeatedly selecting simple verb commands from a menu and triggering animated cutscenes. In this episode a fit of jealousy on Lime's side sends Bass to the hospital. Upon arrival, however, the two discover a very strange hospital manager and begin to suspect yet another BEM infiltration.

The game's original story, involves Kazuma discovering a cursed ring that allows him to steal the underwear of others near him. He learns the only way to undo the curse would be through raising enough money. The game's "Underwear Judgment" system revolves the player controlling Kazuma in returning lost underwear to their rightful owners.
