Manage the ranks of a full-blown rebel army, complete with hundreds of characters, magic items, weapons and mystical Tarot cards. You must succeed in ousting the evil usurpers - your fate, and that of the entire population, depends on it.
Aggres is a sequel to Zodiac. The search for the space archaeologist Dr. Dumas, who disappeared five years ago, has led the courier-turned-detective Boy and his assistant, the robotic Amaroid Marie, to a galactic megalopolis simply known as "The City", where they hope to find answers regarding the mysterious disappearance. Gameplay-wise, the game abandons the text adventure format of its predecessor and instead presents a set menu with verb commands (Examine, Talk, Move, etc.) that are used for combinations with on-screen characters and people to interact with the environment and advance the plot.
Space Adventure Zodiac is a text adventure with graphics, where the player navigates the protagonist and interacts with the environment by typing text commands. The space archaeologist Dr. Dumas disappeared under mysterious circumstances five years ago. A freight trafficker named Boy finds himself involved in this mystery and is determined to find him. Together with his robotic side-kick Amaroid Marie he travels to the dangerous planet Death Starslum, where giant reptiles and other intimidating creatures have become reality.
Ōgon no Rashinban ("Golden Compass") is the second case starring the private detective Ryūnosuke Tōdō, following Kohakuiro no Yuigon. Like the first case, the adventure takes place in the 1920s. This time the investigator finds himself on a ship sailing from San Francisco to Yokohama. A mysterious murder occurs, and it is up to Tōdō to gather evidence and find the culprit. Like its predecessor, the game mainly follows an adventure format with some simulation elements. The game is heavy on realistic investigation routine, and mostly consists of questioning characters and finding clues that would help to solve the case. Unlike the previous entry, the game has isometric graphics with superimposed character portraits, and elements of point-and-click interface (e.g. when navigating the ship map and accessing various locations).
