A maintenance text adventure about a person living underground in a limestone mine and their work maintaining the local communication network that has sprung up there. Stemming from a (real!) visit to a decommissioned limestone mine that is now used to house RVs and boats over the winter (and a subsequent phone notification, under several hundred feet of rock, that the space station was visible overhead), Drift Mine Satellite imagines what a post-apocalyptic community life might look like among sleeping vacation vehicles. It is a utopian apocalypse fantasy, a forever-camping world narrowed to linear miles of RVs parked under a mountain, the people who live in them, and the systems that interconnect them, both social and material. The game was commissioned for Solar Protocol, a network of solar powered servers that connects from whatever server is in the most sunshine. It is programmed for the browser, with low-energy use and computational power front of mind. The entire story is told via spatialized text - no images, no libraries, just divs and textboxes and basic javascript.
Shell Song is an interactive audio-narrative game about deep-fake voice technologies and the datasets that go into their construction. By considering physical and digital bodies and voices, it asks what a voice is worth, who can own a human sound, and how it feels to come face to face with a ghost of your body that may yet come to outlive you.
Anonymous Animal is a 15 minute durational browser poem that runs every hour, on the hour. Using the somewhat-outdated (and rather unstable) web technology of iframes to load and unload pages on a synced clock, Anonymous Animal guides visitors on a collective walk through links, images, wiki pages, and livestreams across the internet. It is an elegy for the era of cross-origin browser requests and off-site embeddable media, as well as a meditation on still being quietly online, together. Better with friends- but there's probably someone else here, now, too.

The Word Room is a first-person exploration game and digital interactive artwork, which exists as a series of endless glass greenhouses that the player may wander through. As each room is entered, it is also created; because the world is endless, no rooms ever repeat. However, it is still a space confined by the bounds of its edges, as one may never exit. Walking forward (from prairie to swamp, fern room to seasonal flowers), the world unfolds linearly, along a garden path, at whatever pace one may choose.
