Overhead run'n gun-style shoot-'em-up. You play as jeep driver and gunner rescuing POWs. More commonly known as Jackal outside the US.
The Goonies II features two modes of play: platform and first-person. Most of the game is played as the former as the player works through a non-linear map. The player moves Mikey to new areas of the map by ladders or doors that may act as warp zones. Several different types of zones are found in the game, each with distinct enemies, graphics and music.
Loco-Motion is basically an updated version of a sliding block puzzle game where the player can move pieces horizontally or vertically within a frame to complete a picture. However, the presence of a constantly moving locomotive complicates matters. The player controls the playfield and the aim is to guide the locomotive around the tracks to collect the passengers waiting at the stations located around the edges of the screen. The player uses a joystick to slide a piece of the track into the vacant square. The locomotive is always moving, but the player has the option of making it move faster to get to the passengers more quickly by using a button next to the joystick. The player must avoid crashing the locomotive into the dead-end barricades (shown as a yellow 'X'), and also ensure that it does not run into the edge of the gap or a barrier at the playfield edge, either of which costs a life.

You play Simon who must battle his way through the castle using his trusty whip. The object is to fight off the evil enemies on your way to find the Count, and if you're lucky, destroy him.
The player starts out as a ship fighting over North America. Capsules are shot from the ground, that when shot open contains either a ship upgrade or powerup. Transformation - The very first item that comes out of the capsule is an upgrade that transforms the ship into a flying robot that has a shield. This shield can take a few hits before transforming back into a ship. - With each upgrade the robot transforms and gains a different type of weapon. - Pressing button 2 (B) will let the Robot use his shield to block shots head on. Power ups - After shooting the capsule open, if they player shoots again the ship upgrade will change to a power up. - Power ups include bonus points, stopping enemies for a certain amount of time, and becoming indestructible for a limited amount of time. During this indestructible phase, the ship/robot cannot shoot but can fly into enemies for tremendous amounts of points.
