Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story is the third game in the Mario & Luigi series of games. Different from its predecessor (Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser, included in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions), it doesn't need to be accessed from within Bowser's Inside Story.
This adventure, included in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions, develops alongside and with the main Mario Bros. story. It involves Bowser's minions battling the enemies of the Beanbean Kingdom to rescue Bowser, after he is knocked out from the Beanbean Border, led by Captain Goomba.
