Halil, a police officer, shoots an illegal immigrant during a clash while on duty. While his trial is ongoing, he returns to his family home in Dalyan. Yaren, a nurse at the hospital, pressures Halil to communicate with Jordan. Jordan's father is an illegal worker in Greece. Halil helps Jordan find his father. Melek Dinç, who works in the Public Relations Department of Dalaman Municipality, is a Ghanaian illegal immigrant who takes Jordan under her wing and acts as a mother to him.
The author Kemal Yılmaz is a former customer of taxi driver Metin. They have a warm friendship that has developed over the years. The author, who has contracted a terminal illness, is dying.
