The story takes place in the early years of the Republic of China. The Huo family and the Zhao family are the two giants in the martial arts world today. They have been fighting over who is the authentic secret boxer. Huo Yuanjia is the fourth son of the Huo family. People are not optimistic about him because he has been frail and sick since he was a child, and they are not prepared to teach him martial arts. However, Huo Yuanjia, who is extremely perceptive, actually realized the Mizong Fist on his own. On the day when the two families agreed to compete, He used the Mizong Fist and defeated his opponent Cheng Tianxiao. Unexpectedly, Cheng Tianxiao suffered a huge blow and passed away. His apprentice Chen Zhen worshiped Huo Yuanjia as his master. A group of people came to Tianjin. Chen Zhen has always been strict with Huo Dongjue, hoping that he can grow into an upright and promising young man. The Japanese martial artist Sato wants to dominate the Chinese martial arts world. In order to combat Sato's gradually rising power, Chen Zhen decides to rebuild the Jingwu Sect. Sato was very unwilling to suffer the blow, so he kidnapped Huo Dongjue, hoping to get Chen Zhen into committing suicide. After learning that Huo Dongjue had been kidnapped, Chen Zhen was extremely anxious and immediately decided to bravely break into the tiger's den alone. However, there were so many enemies that Chen Zhen was outnumbered, and was eventually killed by Sato's trick. However, before his death, Chen Zhen was so heroic that he greatly weakened the power of Sato's party and promoted the glory of China.

Set in 1930s China, the film details the trials of a group of athletes who desire to compete in the Olympic Games. There’s a snag, however. The full amount required to send them abroad for the games is 600,000 dollars, and the government is only sponsoring half. It falls to the athletes to raise the rest themselves, and they start by saving every last penny they earn. They also attempt to raise the money through a variety of fund-raising activities, including street performances, networking for donations, and probably a bake sale, too. After deciding to fund their own way to the games, the athletes take to the streets to perform all manner of athletic demonstrations and martial arts moves in an energetic and impromptu street fair.
