There are few days before the New Year. Father Frost goes for the Christmas tree in the forest. There he meets Wood Goblin, with whom they have a controversy about what is better: a carpet-plane or a real plane. As a result, Wood Goblin, of course, loses, because he is behind the times and for this he personally delivers the most beautiful Christmas tree with golden cones to the children.
The story is about a little deer who wants to be brave and an older deer who says "Bud'!".
Lumberjack with his wife and five sons go to the forest. While parents and older brothers are busy collecting firewood, the two younger ones go to pick mushrooms, which, running away, bring the children to their leader, who suggests picking nuts instead of mushrooms. Lost in the forest due to a thunderstorm, the children find someone's house and ask for the night.

Not long ago, a boy Makarka lived in this area. One day after his grandmother left for the city, Makarka cleared up and began to break trees, shoot nests with chicks, cut his own name on the trunk of a tree. Then the angry trees and birds decided to teach the unfit boy a lesson, and something like that started, from which the bully reluctantly had to think and ask for forgiveness.
