Fitil is a popular Soviet/Russian television satirical/comedy short film series which ran for about 500 episodes. Some of the episodes were aimed at children, and were called Фитилёк, Fitilyok, Little Fuse. Each issue contained from the few short segments: documentary, fictional and animated ones. Directed by various artists, including Leonid Gaidai who presented his famous trio of Nikulin, Vitsin and Morgunov into the cast. It was called in USSR as "the anecdotes from the Soviet government".

Knowing that the king liked hazel-grouses the sly puss caught some of them, brought to the palace as a present and got a lavish gift from the king. And more! The sly animal managed to overpower the evil wizard and marry off his master with the king's daughter.

The Cat shows off his new player. Kesha, jealous, returns home and makes a scene for his owner. After that, he leaves home and tries to sell himself for 1,000 rubles. Meeting Vovka's rich neighbor, he goes to live with him. But life turns out to be not so sweet.
