In dire need of a doctor, an eclectic group of villagers kidnaps Mehmet, who soon falls in love with one of their own.
After Ayşe's aunt recovers, Mehmet's reputation as a doctor spreads far and wide. Everyone seeking healing begins to flock to the door of the renowned Badem Şekeri. Amidst all this commotion, Ayşe and Mehmet's love for each other begins to blossom, but a huge obstacle stands in their way. Ziver Bey, the educated and worldly leader of the surrounding villages, becomes infatuated with Ayşe. Seeing the doctor as the only obstacle between them, Ziver Bey, with the help of Village Headman Bahri, plays a cruel trick on Doctor Şeker. This trick not only separates Ayşe and Mehmet but also completely ruins Mehmet's life.
