Sarja sisältää haastatteluja, sketsejä sekä parodioituja musiikkivideoita, joissa on sanoitettu suomalaisia hittejä uudelleen pohjoissaameksi. Sarjan käsikirjoituksesta ovat vastanneet pääosanesittäjät Suvi West ja Anne Kirste Aikio sekä Veera Ikonen. Pääohjaajana toimi Oskari Sipola. Joulukuun puolivälissä 2011 sarja keräsi huomiota jo ennen alkamistaan julkaisemalla musiikkivideon "Leivämuruseni". Kappale on pohjoissaamenkielinen parodia Jenni Vartiaisen hitistä Missä muruseni on. Linkki levisi yhteisöllisissä viestimissä sekä lehtien verkkosivuilla, ja pian videolla oli YouTubessa yli 100 000 katsojaa.
