Jethro Tull is one of the most successful British acts of all time with a career reaching from the late sixties to the present day. In 2003 they made their first (and so far only) visit to the Montreux Festival. As ever Ian Anderson leads from the front with his instantly recognizable voice and inimitable style of one-legged flute playing. Split into a semi-acoustic first half and a full on electric second half, the concert was a triumph combining newer songs such as “Dot Com”, “Pavane” and “Budapest” with classic favorites.

Founding members Joe Sample and Wilton Felder were joined in the line-up by long standing friend and collaborator Ray Parker Jr. on guitar and featured a special guest appearance by the inimitable Randy Crawford on vocals. They delivered a set that spanned their career from early days up to their latest album capped by a stunning rendition of their classic "Street Life".

Stepping into the late-late slot vacated by David Letterman, Conan O'Brien stars in a show that far outdoes its competition in sheer strangeness. Along with the celebrity interviews and musical numbers typical of late-night talk shows, this program make frequent use of odd walk-on characters and frequent "visits" from celebrity guests.
