Tells the story of a family that experiences chaos after the father dies. Sofia's stepson drives out his stepmother and two siblings. Finally he dies in an accident. When her mother dies, Sofia is adopted by her rich neighbor, while Erwin is who knows where. When he is slandered by his stepsister, he intends to run away but is then helped by a young man who is none other than Erwin.

The two children run away from home, looking for their father, and are separated for a time. When Yuwono is proven innocent and is released, he does not find his children at home and goes around Jakarta to look for them. He finally finds them again.

Though labeled a sequel, this is basically just a rehash of the first film from 1971, which itself was a rehash of the cheesy worldwide hit Love Story from just one year earlier. In case you haven't yet had your fill of seeing teens whining, suffering and dying, the first film was rehashed yet again in 1991 under the same title.

He enlists in the Indonesian Armed Forces along with Yohana’s brother. They are sent to East Timor. Just before he leaves, Johan is shocked to find out that Yohana is pregnant from rapes occurring during her recent abduction. Yohana later dies in an accident, but her child survives. Johan requests that his mother, Rini, take care of the infant Yosiana (Fitria Cintania).
For this sequel to the unexpectedly successful Ratapan Anak Tiri (Lament of a Stepchild), Susy is bullied by her stepmother, who is her father’s third wife.
