Keep It Contained

Keep It Contained is a cooperative, communication-driven experience set inside a sealed, high-risk research facility. One player takes the role of a scientist operating within the facility, while the others form an external control team. Your objective is to re-contain dangerous organisms before time runs out.

The player inside the facility interacts directly with panels, devices, and organism-related modules. The external team, on the other hand, has access only to the Protocol Book. Each side holds different information, and the only way to bridge that gap is through constant communication:

The player inside cannot see the protocols.

The external team cannot see the in-game situation, the modules, or the organism.

This separation lies at the core of the game’s tension. Progress depends on accurately describing information, communicating it clearly, and executing steps in the correct order. A single misdescribed symbol, a skipped step, or a command given under pressure can allow the organism to break containment.

Game sessions are short but intense. System failures, unexpected events, and organism-specific behaviors constantly test the players’ focus. Success requires clear communication, quick thinking, and strong team coordination. Silence is dangerous — but talking too much can be just as risky.

Features

Dynamic scenarios – Procedurally generated module layouts and randomized organism traits ensure that no two sessions are the same.

Co-op multiplayer – Designed for two or more players; playable locally or remotely using voice chat services like Discord.

Single copy required – Only one player needs to own the game. Others can join using the free Protocol Book.

Progressive difficulty – As you advance, more complex modules, new organisms, and additional pressure elements are introduced.

Scenario and level creation – Use the in-game editor to design your own missions, module combinations, and difficulty settings.

Free Protocol Book – Available on the official website, printable, and accessible from any internet-enabled device.

Here, reflexes won’t save you — communication will.
Keep the organism contained…
or watch the facility fall apart.
