In solo play, a Soul Companion fights beside you, supports elemental combinations, and keeps the two-character teamwork at the heart of the game.<br><br>If your mage falls, Soul Link lets you continue by taking control of the Soul Companion. Even when players have different experience levels, each person brings an important element to the battle.<h2 class="bb_tag" >Unleash True Cooperative Ultimates</h2><br>Elemental ultimates are created by two characters, two elements, and a casting decision made together.<br><br>Build energy with your partner, read the battlefield, and respond at the same moment to unleash the ultimate belonging to that elemental pairing. It might clear a surrounded area, reshape the battlefield, create a safe space, or provide the key to defeating a boss.<br><br>This is not an ultimate where one player casts and the other watches.
