A horizontal scrolling 2D shmup
Zakesta-Z is the newest version of the shoot 'em up that challenges players to blast their way through a total of five stages, with a main shot that can be powered up 5 levels and an array of sub-weapons that can be powered up 3 levels. The game also includes a stage select feature that allows players to practice previously-cleared stages with infinite lives, as well as a sound test that unlocks upon clearing the game.
Wexew Mexem is a vertical scrolling shoot 'em up by Japanese developer Zakichi. It takes inspiration from games like Exed Exes and Xexex. By activating "High Point Mode" when your energy is at full power, you can also destroy enemy bullets, turning enemies into bonus items. If you press the mode activation button during "high point mode", you will return to normal mode at any time. Your attack has a range, and if you move up, the range will be longer, and if you move down, the range will be shorter, but the power will be doubled.
Thunder Force Inspired Shooter. Homages to retro shooting games. At the beginning of the game, you'll only be capable of shooting in front and behind your ship, but by acquiring weapons from the item carriers that appear during each stage, you'll gain access to lasers, homing shots and more. Defeating enemies in rapid succession increases the score multiplier gauge up to a maximum of x8, with larger and more durable enemies offering a speed-kill bonus equal to x4 of your current score multiplier (maximum x32). Kaikan is a doujin PC SHMUP released in 2013 by Zakichi, who has released several games under the name -kigekiyahonpo-. The game is inspired by Raizing games where medal collection occurs, but with a focus on vacuum effects on medals instead of needing to collect them by touching them like in a Raizing game. The game was created solely within Shooting Game Builder and features royalty free music from various artists to fill in the game's soundtrack.
